About the Office: The Land Information Office/Property Listing is organized as a part of the Treasurer’s Office.
Clyde is the county treasurer and Donna Andraschko is the land records specialist. Ian Grasshoff and Jason Buck are our GIS Specialist's.
The office is responsible for maintaining property ownership changes and maintaining splits on the computer as well as the maps. There were approximately 500 splits and 3,000 transfers in the last year. All phases of the assessment process are handled in this office. 30 out of 34 municipalities are currently exchanging assessment data electronically with our office. We are moving towards a paperless environment by utilizing document imaging in our day to day activities. The office also deals with most of the inquiries relating to ownership and legal description that occur.
About the City/ County: Starting in the year 2000, all of our parcel maps are being produced from GIS. Also, our GIS mapping is available on public access terminals throughout the courthouse. Our document imaging system is also available at the public access terminals. The County currently uses an AS/400 to house the data files from the Register of Deeds, Zoning and Real Estate/Tax Departments. The GIS system is linked to the AS/400 system to allow access to the data files. Waupaca County flew aerial photography in the spring of 2005.
