About the Office: The Property Lister in Pepin County is part of the County Treasurer job. The work is done in the Treasurer’s Office by the Treasurer and the Deputy Treasurer. I was elected in 1992 and took office January 1, 1993. To my knowledge the Treasurer’s Office has always done the property listing. The current deputy treasurer has been working in the office part time for 21 years. The office consist of me and two Deputy Treasurer for a total of 4 ˝ days a week. I have one Deputy that works 4 days a week and the other work during tax collection and as a fill in as needed. We average 500 transfers a year. Within those transfers we do about 100 splits, 10 Certified Survey’s and 6 subdivisions.
