About
the office: The Real Property Lister Office became part of the County
Treasurer’s Office by County Board Resolution on May 16, 2000. There are
five additional employees in the office. Janine Zander and Char
Trzesniak specialize in the functions of the Treasurer’s Office.
Joanne Sumpter specialize in the functions of Real
Property Listing. Linda Madland is the Land Information Officer
specializing in our GIS System.
Digital mapping continues with 7 townships completely mapped. We
have contracted wit MSA to create our base maps with Linda doing the
updates.
We utilize a PC network consisting of the County Treasurer, Real
Property Listing, County Clerk, Register of Deeds and Planning &
Zoning offices. We are now using GCS windows software for tax
collection and assessment. |
| About county: There are 17 townships, one village and two cities. One
of the cities is a small portion of the City of Wisconsin Dells with
a parcel count of seventeen. Our tax roll consists of approximately
36,000 parcels. The 2001 aggregate assessment was $1,229,852,594 and
the equalized value was $1,372,955,200. |
